Avila's online film catalogue is accessible for free to members of the following libraries of the Flemish Community:

How do I watch a film?
Access to Bib.Avila is included in the library subscription and available through your Mijn Bibliotheek profile.
- Select a film from the catalogue.
- Click on ‘Watch’.
- Already logged in with your library account? Then you can play the film immediately.
- Not yet logged in? Login with your Mijn Bibliotheek profile
- You're a library member, but you don't have a Mijn Bibliotheek profile yet? Create a profile to get access.
- Not a library member yet? Sign up at one of the libraries listed above.

On avilafilm.be, you can rent films individually or take out a subscription.

How do I activate subtitles?
- Click on the CC icon in the bottom-right corner of the video player.
- Select the desired language and the subtitles will appear.
How do I watch a film in full screen?
Click on the fullscreen icon (icon with four arrows pointing out) in the bottom-right corner of the video player.
How do I get the best image quality?
- Click on the settings icon (cogwheel icon) in the bottom-right corner of the video player.
- Choose 1080p for the highest quality.
- Is the movie not loading properly? Select a lower quality, this helps with a slower internet connection.
Can I Chromecast a film?
Yes, you can!
- Make sure you have an active internet connection.
- Connect to your Chromecast and stream the film to your TV or screen.
Can I watch the films abroad?
Yes!
- The Mijn Bibliotheek profile does have to be created in Belgium.
- After that, you can watch films in Belgium and abroad.
Can I download the films to watch them offline?
No, you always have to be connected to the internet to watch films.
